Additional Adoption Information

Submitting an application does not mean you are commiting to a dog, nor does it guarantee you will get that dog.  It is simply a tool we use to help both you and us identify a good potential match for your family and lifestyle,

Groomiing is a crucial part of a dog's care.  Grooming can be expensive and its important to budget accordingly.  Regular grooming is essential to keep their coat healthy and shiny.  Grooming helps with shedding and promotes good health and well-being,

It is important to be age appropriate and consider the needs of a senior dog.  Senior dogs are low energy and enjoy being by your side.

If evacuating, take your pet.

If moving, take your pet.

If you have a baby, keep your pet.

It's important to consider the potential for unexpected costs and financial problems, especially veterinary care for accidents or illness. Comprehensive medical care including regular check-ups, bloodwork, medicine, vaccinations and for any necessary treatments.

A senior dog may require some extra training.  Proper housetraining, and teaching basic commands can help your senior dog learn new skills and enjoy their golden years.

By approved adopters only.  We allow up to 7 days to arrange for pickup.  South Florida airports are listed in the footer.

Important to consider their specific needs and provide a safe and comfortable environment.  Taking into account the dog's age, health and any special requirements they may have.

No matter how nice you make a crate, its a crate.  Any dog who is crated every day comes to hate his crate.  A fenced yard is required where your dog can go potty when you are not up to walking him.

$250.00 transport fee.
