Adoption Process
Set Realistic Expectations
When applying to adopt a senior dog, it's important to have realistic expectations about the process. Please keep the following points in mind:

Application Processing: All applications are processed by a single individual on a first-come, first-served basis.

No Guarantee: Submitting an application does not guarantee you will be matched with a dog; popular dogs may receive hundreds of applications.

Respectful Communication: Any applicants who waste time or use abusive language will be immediately blocked from the process.

Transport Responsibility: Please note that transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the adopter.

OUT OF STATE ADOPTERS
We recommend Paws & Claws Transportation. They offer private transport services and the price varies depending on the destination. Once your adoption is approved, feel free to contact them for more information.
*Out of State Adopters have one week to arrange for pickup.
