Applications
We appreciate your patience as we process applications in the order they are received. Please allow up to 5 business days for us to review your submission. While we strive to match every applicant with a dog, please note that there is no guarantee, as popular dogs may receive many applications. *Please note that high volumes of inquiries may delay our response. Thank you for understanding!

Adoption Process: Set Realistic Expectations
When applying to adopt a senior dog, it's important to have realistic expectations about the process. Please keep the following points in mind:
Application
All applications are processed by a single individual on a first-come, first-served basis.
No Guarantee
Submitting an application does not guarantee you will be matched with a dog; popular dogs may receive hundreds of applications.
Communication
Any applicants who waste time or use abusive language will be immediately blocked from the process.
Transport
Transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the adopter.
Adoption Policy
At True & Faithful Pet Rescue Mission, we want to spread clarity regarding our adoption process.
While we’re here to help you find your perfect furry companion, please note the following key points:
-
Not a Matchmaking Service: We do our best to match pets with their ideal homes, but please understand that we are not a matchmaking service. We cannot accommodate specific requests regarding breed features, temperament, actions, colors, or gender. We aim to find loving homes for our rescue animals as quickly as possible!
-
Adopter Pickup Required Within One Week: Once you are approved for adoption, we kindly ask that you arrange to pick up your new pet within one week.
-
Next in Line: Once approved, we do not hold an animal for you. If you are unable to pick up within the required one week, we will continue to process other approved adopters who are ready to welcome a new furry friend into their home.
NO GUARANTEE
We want to clarify, being "approved" means you are eligible to adopt a senior dog in need, NOT for a specific dog.
We do not guarantee temperament, house training, or the length of time a dog may have left.
