Whistleblower Policy

True and Faithful Pet Rescue Mission, Inc.

True and Faithful Pet Rescue Mission, Inc. is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics,

transparency, and accountability. All board members, staff, volunteers, and supporters are expected to

conduct themselves with integrity and in compliance with all applicable laws and organizational policies.

Purpose

This Whistleblower Policy is designed to encourage and protect individuals who report, in good faith,

suspected misconduct, unethical behavior, or violations of law or organizational policy.

Scope

This policy applies to all board members, officers, employees, contractors, and volunteers of the

organization.

Reporting Concerns

Anyone who becomes aware of suspected wrongdoing is encouraged to report it promptly. Examples

include, but are not limited to:

- Fraud, theft, or financial mismanagement

- Violations of laws or regulations

- Abuse of authority

- Conflicts of interest

- Unsafe or unethical practices

- Any behavior inconsistent with the mission and values of the organization

Concerns may be reported confidentially or anonymously to:

- The Executive Director

- Any Board Officer

- Or directly to the Board of Directors at: Truefaithfulrescuemission@gmail.com

No Retaliation

 

True and Faithful Pet Rescue Mission, Inc. strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone who, in good

faith, reports a concern or participates in an investigation.

Investigation

All concerns will be promptly reviewed and, when appropriate, investigated. The Board of Directors (or

an appointed committee) will determine the appropriate response.

Good Faith Requirement

Reports must be made in good faith with reasonable grounds for concern.

Confidentiality

The organization will maintain confidentiality to the fullest extent possible, consistent with the need to conduct an adequate investigation.
