Lea is a sweet senior girl, estimated to be 12–13 years old, who was found alone and severely emaciated on the streets of Miami. She had been through so much and was incredibly frail, scared, and without anyone to care for her.
Thankfully, Lea is now safe and getting the care she desperately needed. She has undergone an extensive senior workup, mammary mass removal, a spay, and a much-needed dental. She is now focused on healing, gaining strength, and learning what it feels like to be safe and loved.
Lea is shy and understandably needs some time to come out of her shell. After everything she has been through, she may not immediately know how to trust or accept affection. She needs an adopter who will be patient with her, respect her boundaries, and allow her to move at her own pace.
Lea is ready to find her forever home, but she isn't looking for someone who expects her to change overnight. She is looking for someone who will see the sweet senior underneath the fear and give her the time, patience, and unconditional love she deserves.
She has already survived so much. Now, Lea deserves to spend her golden years feeling safe, comfortable, and truly loved.
